Press braking for precise sheet metal fabrication
At EICA in Halmstad, press braking has been a natural part of our production since 1957. With an integrated machine park, long experience and certified processes, we bend stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel with high precision – whether you need a single prototype or a full production run.
Experience and a complete approach since 1957
As a family-owned company, we combine more than 60 years of know-how with modern automation. Our fully equipped workshop allows press braking to be quickly followed by welding, CNC machining and powder coating – all under one roof. The result is short lead times, traceable quality and products that are ready for CE marking straight off the line.
How our press braking process works
The press braking process starts when our design engineers optimize the drawing for bending. The presses are then programmed, the material is positioned against the backgauge and the bending is carried out step by step to minimize springback. Final inspection ensures that the angles stay within tolerance – even for complex geometries.
CNC-controlled presses and skilled operators
With CNC-controlled press brakes we combine high tonnage capacity with repeatable accuracy. Our experienced operators fine-tune every bend, ensuring the correct angle from the very first stroke – even in thin sheet metal with tight tolerances.
A machine park that safeguards precision
On our shop floor, press braking works closely with 10 kW fiber laser cutting (3,000 × 1,500 mm), Prima-Power punching and a Haas VF-4 machining center. This setup means we take responsibility for every step, from raw sheet metal to fully assembled product.
Capacity in stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel
By combining press braking with TIG/MAG welding and powder coating, we deliver both hygiene-critical components and robust chassis for the electronics, furniture and food industries. Our flexibility covers everything from one-off special parts to medium-sized series
Advantages of choosing EICA
- Full-service supplier: design support, press braking, surface treatment and assembly under one roof.
- Quality & environment: documented policies drive continuous improvements.
- Short lead times: internal logistics reduce the time from order to delivery.
- Peace of mind: CE-marked products and full traceability throughout the entire process.
From drawing to finished product
When you place an order with EICA, we take responsibility for the entire chain. The drawings are adapted for optimal press braking, the parts are processed, powder coated and assembled – and you receive a final product that is ready to be installed at the end customer.
